CABO WABO

Our contemporary inspired residence is a collaboration of the owners desire to explore freedom of expression and a team of professionals able to implement a combination of rectilinear, angular and curvilinear forms for an exciting exterior and interior design.

The residence includes a two story main structure with large vertical volumes, strong linear lines, and with undertones of warm textured finish materials. Site amenities include a detached RV garage, workshop and pool bath structure.

Emphasis was placed on allowing the exterior architecture to flow into the interior space by using strong vertical and horizontal masses with warm stone applications. Strong consideration was given to mountain views from both the first and second floor levels.

Challenges with sound and natural light infiltration where successfully resolved through fabric covered acoustical sound board and motorized shades. Unique and creative applications of concrete, stainless steel, stone, wood and color were used to formulate a balance of form and function of space.
